Dr. Rebecca Sweet
Dr. Rebecca Sweet grew up in Reed, KY. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Murray State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. Dr. Sweet has a special interest in pain management, surgery, and orthopedics. She is committed to providing compassionate and progressive medical care. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, and cooking. Her home is shared with her husband, Justin, their son, Hugh, and their pets, Clark (Boxer), Horatio (cat), and Tommy the Turtle.
Dr. Sweet was elected the President of the Madison County Veterinary Medical Association from 2019 to present, the Vice President from 2018-2019, and the Secretary/Treasurer from 2017-2018.

Morgan
Morgan is a licensed veterinary technician from Cookeville, TN. She has worked her way up to the role of head technician/assistant at Green Cove Pet Hospital. Morgan and her husband have a Great Dane mix named Ava who accompanies Morgan every day to work. Being a Dane mom, she has a soft spot for Great Danes, but loves all her patients dearly. In her free time, Morgan enjoys playing intermural sports with the Huntsville sports league and singing in the Huntsville Community and Chamber Choir, as well as in her church choir.

Caitlyn
Caitlyn started as an animal care attendant at Green Cove Pet Hospital and has trained into the veterinary assistant position. She spent her early childhood in Madison, AL before moving to Slidell, LA. She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in May 2018 before joining the Green Cove Pet Hospital team in November 2018. She has always had a passion for animals and their well-being. In her free time, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with family. She also loves to read a good book while snuggling with her Maltese, Gigi.

Amanda
Amanda grew up north of San Francisco and moved to Alabama in 2010. She and her husband live in Meridianville with their pets that include some crazy cats, a couple of reptiles and a new puppy. She has been working in veterinary hospitals or animal shelters since 2005 and has worked at Green Cove Pet Hospital since November 2017. Amanda has worked in all positions here at Green Cove Pet Hospital and is currently the Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative. When she is not working, you can find her reading science fiction novels, painting her nails, or playing video games.

Nichola
Nichola has been working as a veterinary assistant since 2017. She is proudly from Houston, Texas and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in May 2021. She joined the Green Cove Pet Hospital Team in August 2021. She loves working with clients and their pets, as well as helping their pets live a happy and full life. In her free time, Nichola enjoys spending time with her two horses and she plans to continue her studies in animal nutrition.

Shelby
Shelby has been working as a veterinarian assistant since 2018. Shelby is originally from Grove, Oklahoma. She has an associate’s degree in Biological Science from the University of Alabama, Huntsville and hopes to pursue a veterinary doctorate program. She likes to crochet in her spare time. She has one dog, Jimmy, who is full of personality.

Belen
Belen has been working as an Animal Care Attendant since 2021. She has always been passionate about working with animals. Belen hopes to further her education and become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the near future. Since working at Green Cove Pet Hospital, she has adopted a kitten named Botas.

Emily
Emily started her career in animal care in 2017 working at a target-zero animal shelter in her hometown, Anderson, South Carolina. Emily joined the Green Cove Pet Hospital Team in July of 2022. Emily has a soft spot for misunderstood pets who need a little extra care. In her free time, you can find her journaling or watching a horror movie marathon with her best friend, Kyo, her tortoiseshell kitty that’s stayed with her through this long journey.
