Receptionist
General Information
We are a growing, progressive one doctor practice seeking team members who are friendly, energetic, and confident. Applicants must be team players who are flexible self-starters and can handle a fast-paced environment.
Our patients are primarily cats and dogs. We are open Monday-Friday 7a-5p and Saturday 8a-10a. Weekend and holiday duties are required on a rotating basis. Full time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment. Benefits include discounted veterinary care for their pets, group health insurance that includes: secondary health, vision, and dental insurance, two pairs of scrubs, a name tag, and pro-rated paid time off. There is also no requirement for emergency/on-call duties.

About The Position
A veterinary receptionist position is a challenging role that provides wonderful gratification working with a team of professionals. Job responsibilities include customer service, data entry, medical note transcription, managing a multi-line phone system, receiving inventory, scheduling appointments, taking payments, other clerical support tasks, handling animals, discussing treatment plans, and dispensing medication.
Proficiency in basic computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel, telephone/verbal/written communication skills, one-year experience in a veterinary clinic or as a receptionist, and preferably at least one-year experience with a veterinary practice management software, ideally Cornerstone, would be the foundation of skills in the ideal applicant.

Animal Care or Kennel Attendant

Job responsibilities include customer service, data entry, medical note transcription, handling animals, administering medication, phlebotomy, surgery assistance, laboratory work, sanitation, discussing treatment plans, dispensing medication, etc.
Proficiency in basic computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel, telephone/verbal/written communication skills, one-year+ experience in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary technician/assistant would be the foundation of skills in the ideal applicant.
